easter time

I just have stories to tell, but when I sit down to blog and when I finally get all those pictures uploaded my ADD kicks in and I have lost interest. My time at home is precious since I work full time, I hardly get to see Reed So I feel like the 3 hours a night I have with him are very important, and since he suddenly has an obsession with me and won't leave my side (not even for dad, Jake is very offended) its hard to get anything done. My solution for this problem. Blog while I am at work, and have nothing to do but surf the web. Upload pictures when I get home and Reed is sleeping. I hope this new routine works out!




First off I just have to talk about my now usable feature in my car. The iphone/ipod holder!! I have recently gotten the iphone YIPEE!! Yes it is all its cracked up to be! I LOVE LOVE it! We are best friends. My car has this holder thing in the middle console and its for your ipod. So that it doesn't move and you can plug it in with an axillary cable. Well we don't have an ipod because of an very unfortunate event. Jake was leaving work one day and left his phone and MY ipod on the roof of the car and drove away. Well a few hours later I received a phone call from his phone and it was a kind old man that had found both of them on the road. He just happened to see them while riding his motorcycle.. Well the phone was just fine with a few scratches, but the ipod wasn't so lucky.. It had been completely ran over. It was flat as a pancake.
so needless to say we haven't gotten another one.
Back to the Holder. It is fantastic. I put my phone in it, because it doubles as my ipod. Plug it in and I don't have to worry about it flying all over the car. That it was I hate, when you turn they fall, when you brake, they fall, when you speed up they fall. So annoying. So I'm very happy with this feature...


EASTER!
We had a fun easter this year. We stayed home and didn't stress. It was great. We got Reed some plastic eggs, and put a few jelly beans in each of them. He was so cute he would find one, open it and eat all the candy as fast as he could. He has tasted the joy of sugar and can't get enough.




Our dinner was so amazing! I wanted to try out some new recipes and they we so yummy.
We had lamb with a balsamic reduction sauce, Herb oven roasted potatoes, and Glazed carrots. It was so amazing. I really like lamb. It has such a good taste to it.
And for dessert we had fresh raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries, with dark chocolate drizzled over the top.
I love to cook. I wish I had more time to do it.



and here is all of Reed's teeth! He has 4 molars in the back and I think there are 2 more coming in.

Arizona

We got to go down to Arizona this last weekend to see Jake's side of the Family. Shanna and Kasey got to bless their 4th child Brenna! It was way fun and lots of kids for Reed to play with. He mastered the stairs and now can go up and down them all by himself. He also can go up and down slides and open doors. He is getting to smart and sometimes I wish he wouldn't learn to do those things. It makes me nervous that he is going to get hurt!
Well I guess it has to happen sometime..

3 Years Already!

I can't believe its already been 3 years. Its seems like I've been with Jake all my life, but it feels like we just got married yesterday. I love him more and more everyday, and he is the best daddy to our little guy. I'm so glad that I got so lucky. I can't wait for the many years to come.. love you jake.



Now for the Reed monster!!
He is getting WAY to much personality these days. He is the biggest cheeser and loves to smile at the camera.

Everytime I open the laundry room door he bolts to the dryer. He will do anything to get inside it.
Reeds first haircut! He looks to much like a boy. He is growing up to fast...
He is a kissing fool. well more like an open mouth slobber on your cheek, but its so cute, and he loves to give hugs and kisses all the time now.

and this is the latest pic. I sent this to my mom because I was worried about his rash. So we took him to the doctor and they said its just hives. But we don't know where he is getting them. So sometime soon we need to take him to allergy tested. Poor little man.

I Confess...

• I took a bath last just so that jake couldn't. I always get jealous when he takes one first.
• I locked Reed in his Room this morning while I got ready. He cried and I ignored him.
  
• i must have eaten something weird a couple nights ago because I got hives all over my lips, but just on my lips. It was terrible.
  
• i am addicted to facebook. Its pretty much the only thing to do while I am at work, but it has created an addiction.
  
• Not only am I addicted to facebook, but I'm addicted to that stupid bejeweled blitz game. dam you bejeweled. AND i still don't have the high score.
• i let Reed eat a cinnamon heart candy. I watched him pick it up and eat it and then spit it out. It was very cute.
  
• i hate using the bathroom. I have no idea why, but I'm always very anxious when I am in there. (definitely not a read the newspaper on the john kinda girl)
• i had another bladder infection -- probably caused by the statement above.
• I had walking pneumonia last week too, it was awful, I had to take two antibiotics which made me want to hurl.
  
• i let reed play with all the measuring cups in the bottom drawer in my kitchen. They usually end up all over the floor and I just put them back in the drawer at the end of the day. I don't wash them.

That is all. man I feel better.

a day in the life of reed..

Jan 18th was Reed's birthday. He had a great time. Thanks to everyone that came! We let him destroy his own birthday cake! He found it strange at first, but as soon as he tasted that sugar he couldn't shove it in his mouth fast enough! needless to say it was rough going to bed that night.
He has been so funny about the camera lately too. He just does the cutest smile ever when I say smile. I love it!



He has found that he can crawl in ANY drawer! and all of them are going to fall apart.

Reeds having a birthday!

EVERYONE IS INVITED! I sent out invites late.. so if you didn't get it you are still invited!

Here we are. At a new year again. I can't believe that last year I was sitting around at home ready to pop pregnant. I'm so glad that is not the case this year.
We had an interesting good Christmas this year. I went up north to spend it with my family.
Jake had to work pretty much the whole entire weekend. So it was no fun for him.
Reed wasn't sure what everyone was doing but I think he had a great time.

I got the camera out right when Reed woke up and asked him to smile and he did..
